What the dashboard builder does

It is a canvas for SAP Business One reports. You place charts where you want them, pick the measure and the dimension, and the page updates when you click a bar, slice or row. Charts with dates or groups can drill down (for example from year to month) and back up.

How to use it

Start with the demo data to design the layout. Then start the Kodenova Connector on a PC that can reach your SAP Business One server and connect from the builder. Save several dashboards, switch between them from the top menu, and print or save one as PDF for a meeting.

Run the Kodenova Connector on your PC to load live SAP Business One data. The data stays between your PC and your SAP server.

Is the SAP Business One dashboard builder free?

Yes. You can build and save dashboards with demo data for free in your browser, without an account.

Do I need Power BI?

No. The builder draws the charts itself in the browser. It is meant for teams that want simple sales and stock dashboards without a Power BI licence or a report developer.

How does it get my SAP Business One data?

Through the Kodenova Connector, a small program you run on a PC that can reach your SAP Business One server. The builder talks only to that connector on your own computer (localhost).

Where are my dashboards saved?

In your browser on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded to Kodenova. You can also export a chart as an image or its data as CSV, or print the dashboard to PDF.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After the first visit the page and the chart engine are cached, so you can open and edit dashboards without an internet connection.
