What does a SAP Business One developer do for a UAE company?
Most UAE companies on SAP Business One already have an SAP partner for licences, implementation and standard support. A developer handles what the standard system does not ship: add-ons inside the client, integrations through the Service Layer, validation rules, Arabic report layouts and, from 2027, the link between SAP Business One and your e-invoicing service provider.

Are you a SAP Business One consultant in Dubai?
We are not based in Dubai. Kodenova has no office in the UAE and works remotely from Lahore, Pakistan. People who search for a SAP Business One consultant in Dubai usually need one of two things: a partner who sells licences and runs the implementation, or a developer who builds custom functions. We are the second.
Technical consulting comes with the development work. We review an add-on idea, a Service Layer design, a slow query or an e-invoicing plan, and tell you what to build, what to configure in standard SAP Business One and what to leave to your partner.
How do you work with our SAP partner?
Kodenova is independent and works alongside your SAP partner. Your partner keeps the licences, the implementation, upgrades and SAP’s standard support. We build the custom work around it and stay inside SAP’s supported interfaces: UI API, DI API, Service Layer, user-defined fields and tables, and TransactionNotification.
In practice we agree the scope with you and your partner, develop on a test company, share the documentation and test upgrades together. Partners in the region can also bring us in as extra development capacity for one of their customers.
Can you prepare SAP Business One for PINT AE e-invoicing?
Yes, on the SAP Business One side. From 1 January 2027, UAE businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must issue B2B and B2G e-invoices in PINT AE over Peppol through an Accredited Service Provider (ASP); the others follow from 1 July 2027. Your SAP Business One system talks to the ASP, never directly to the FTA.
We map the data (TIN and Peppol endpoint, tax categories on tax codes, AED tax totals), build the connector to your ASP’s API, write the status back to each document and add a screen for rejections. Kodenova is not an ASP. Our PINT AE integration is ready but not yet live for a UAE company. Elsewhere we have five e-invoicing systems live: ZATCA, SRI, FEL, DTE and Panama FE.
Can you build Arabic and bilingual reports in SAP Business One?
Yes. Many UAE companies want tax invoices in Arabic and English, with the TRN of both parties and AED tax totals even when the invoice is in USD or EUR. We build Crystal Reports and print layouts that read Arabic item and partner names from SAP Business One’s foreign-language fields, and test right-to-left text on your printer and PDF output before go-live.
The same work covers statements, delivery notes and management reports, on SQL Server or SAP HANA.
How does remote work from Pakistan fit UAE working hours?
Pakistan is UTC+5 and the UAE is UTC+4, and neither changes its clocks in summer. Lahore is one hour ahead of Dubai all year, so 9:00 in Dubai is 10:00 in Lahore and the working days overlap almost completely. Calls, weekly demos and go-live support happen during your normal hours.
Access runs through the method your IT team prefers, such as VPN or remote desktop to a test company, under agreed data protection terms.
What experience do you bring without UAE clients yet?
Kodenova has clients in 13 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, but none in the UAE yet. The closest work is a ZATCA Phase 2 bridge for SAP Business One in Saudi Arabia: it sends invoices for clearance and reporting, writes the results back and shows rejected invoices on one screen. A UAE ASP integration follows the same document flow.

Is Kodenova an SAP partner in the UAE?
No. Kodenova is independent and works alongside your SAP partner. Your partner keeps the licences, the implementation and SAP’s standard support. We build and support the custom code around it: add-ons, integrations, reports, portals and AI. We document every change, so your partner can follow it and support the system afterwards.
Do you have an office in Dubai?
No. Kodenova has no office in Dubai or anywhere else in the UAE. We work remotely from Lahore, Pakistan, which is one hour ahead of the UAE all year. Calls, demos and testing run over video and remote access, and your SAP partner stays your local contact for licences and standard support.
Are you an Accredited Service Provider for UAE e-invoicing?
No. Kodenova is not an ASP and does not run a Peppol access point. You appoint an ASP from the Ministry of Finance list. We build the SAP Business One side: PINT AE data mapping, a connector to your ASP’s API, status write-back and a screen where your team fixes rejected invoices.
Have you delivered SAP Business One projects for UAE companies?
