Questions about this tool
What is PINT AE?
PINT AE is the UAE version of the Peppol International Invoice (PINT). It is a UBL 2.1 XML format with UAE fields such as the 0235 Peppol scheme, transaction-type flags and tax amounts in AED. Its CustomizationID is urn:peppol:pint:billing-1@ae-1.
Does this tool replace my ASP validation?
No. It runs the most common structural and calculation checks so you can catch problems early. Your Accredited Service Provider runs the full official PINT AE rules before it sends the invoice.
Which tax category codes are allowed in the UAE?
S (standard rate, 5%), Z (zero-rated), E (exempt), O (outside the scope of tax) and AE (reverse charge). Z, E, O and AE carry zero tax, and out-of-scope documents (type 480 or 81) may only use E or O.
What goes in the EndpointID of a UAE e-invoice?
The 10-digit Tax Identification Number (TIN) with schemeID 0235. The TIN is the first 10 digits of the 15-digit TRN. Using the full TRN is a common reason for routing errors.
Is my invoice uploaded anywhere?
No. The XML is read by your own browser. Nothing is sent to Kodenova or anyone else.
