UAE e-invoicing (PINT AE) for SAP Business One and your ERP.

In shortUAE e-invoicing becomes mandatory for B2B and B2G invoices from 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more, and from 1 July 2027 for all other businesses. Invoices are exchanged as PINT AE (UBL 2.1 XML) over the Peppol network through an Accredited Service Provider (ASP), which also reports the tax data to the FTA. Kodenova builds the connection between SAP Business One (or your ERP) and your ASP.

How we do it

From SAP Business One to PINT-AE and back.

01

Check your SAP B1 (or other ERP) master data: TRN, TIN, Peppol IDs, tax codes and the UAE transaction-type flags.

02

Map invoices, credit notes and out-of-scope documents to PINT AE fields, with all tax amounts in AED even for foreign-currency sales.

03

Generate the UBL XML and send it to your Accredited Service Provider through its API, with retries and a full log.

04

Write the ASP status, message ID and any rejection reason back to the SAP B1 document so finance can fix it in one place.

05

Test with your ASP in its sandbox, then go live before your deadline, with three months of support after go-live.

FAQ

PINT-AE (Peppol) e-invoicing: common questions

When does UAE e-invoicing apply to my company?

If your revenue is AED 50 million or more, you must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 30 October 2026 and issue e-invoices from 1 January 2027. Below AED 50 million, the dates are 31 March 2027 and 1 July 2027. Government entities go live on 1 October 2027.

Do I still need an ASP if my ERP can create the XML?

Yes. In the UAE model every business sends and receives e-invoices through an FTA-accredited service provider on the Peppol network. Your ERP creates the invoice data; the ASP validates, delivers and reports it.

Can SAP Business One produce PINT AE invoices?

Not out of the box in most installations. We add the missing fields (TIN, Peppol IDs, transaction-type flags, AED tax totals) and an integration that sends each document to your ASP and stores the result back in SAP B1.

We use Odoo, Tally, Zoho or a custom ERP. Can you help?

Yes. The ASP side is the same for every ERP. We build the data mapping and the API connection for SAP Business One, other ERPs and custom systems.

What is my Peppol participant ID?

It is the scheme 0235 followed by your 10-digit Tax Identification Number (TIN), which is the first 10 digits of your 15-digit TRN. Example: TRN 100123456700003 gives 0235:1001234567.
