How ITT1 relates to other tables

ITT1 rows belong to one OITT header through Father. When Type is 4 the Code is an item and joins to OITM.ItemCode; resource rows (290) and text rows (-18) are not items.

When you use the ITT1 table

Use ITT1 to list the components of a parent item, to run where-used reports (which BOMs use a component), and to check issue methods and warehouses before production orders are created.

Common pitfall: Treating every ITT1 row as an item

ITT1 also holds resource rows (Type 290) and text rows (Type -18). Filter Type = 4 before you join OITM or sum quantities, or text and resource lines distort the component list. See OITT table (bill of materials).
