¿Qué es la clave de acceso del SRI?
It is the 49-digit number that identifies every electronic document in Ecuador (factura, nota de crédito, retención, guía de remisión). The SRI uses it to authorize and look up the document.
How is the SRI clave de acceso built?
Date ddmmaaaa (8) + document type (2) + RUC (13) + environment (1) + series: establishment and emission point (6) + sequential (9) + numeric code (8) + emission type (1) + check digit (1) = 49 digits.
How is the check digit (dígito verificador) calculated?
Módulo 11: multiply the first 48 digits from right to left by the weights 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (repeating), add the results, and subtract the remainder of dividing by 11 from 11. A result of 11 becomes 0 and a result of 10 becomes 1.
What do the document type codes mean?
01 Factura, 03 Liquidación de compra, 04 Nota de crédito, 05 Nota de débito, 06 Guía de remisión, 07 Comprobante de retención.
